Hey guys,
I seem to be having a slight issue with my computer. In the past 2 days, I've been forced to reset my CMOS just to get my computer to boot. The first day, I got to the POST screen and nothing happened. Reset CMOS, then it worked. This morning, I couldn't even get to POST and the POST code on my mobo wasn't even in the manual. Again, resetting CMOS fixed it.
I really don't want to reset my damn CMOS every morning, and keeping the computer on all night is too loud. So, any ideas on what might be the issue? Could the CMOS battery need replacing? Maybe a glitch in the BIOS?
Thanks.

RE: Minor PC Problem
Honestly not sure, but the CMOS battery should be pretty cheap and easy to replace, so try that if it's of concern.
Here's some quick googled items:

What type of Mobo do you have??

Abit AB9
That last link provided some good tips. Looks like it's an issue with Abit boards.
