College Is Done

Well, as of 10:30 this morning, I am officially done my college education!

I will be graduating with a 3 year degree as a Computer Programming Analyst. The convocation ceremony won't take place until October, but fuck it, I'm graduated!

Luckily, I already have a job that I've secured since my 2nd co-op (Winter of 2007). Things are really ramping up with them, as we're purchasing our own server to host my web application. Hopefully by the end of 2008, we'll have a solid setup ready for customer use.

Unfortunately, as much as I'd like to get wasted tonight, I'll most likely be recovering from this damn cold I just got :(

Anyways, I'd like to thank everyone who has lent me a hand either during my education or my co-ops. Your help is always appreciated.

Wow...that's awesome, and at the same time making me feel old. I remember when you were just a 16-year old with a guitar around your neck and black socks on.... :)

Grats Merc. I've still got 3 semesters left for my program but so far so good. Grats on the job as well.

Also nothing kills a cold like heavy drinking. There's a reason alcohol is used as a steralizer. :)

Gratz mate, glad you have a job lined up, hit a brick wall there when I graduated last year, currently about to start a year long accountancy course to get some extra qualifications here as theres not enough entry level work for my chosen career path atm.

As this thread is talk for qualifications all around, may as well update on TNS and Rat as well, TNS just finished up college with straight A grades, and has just got a job/apprenticeship at a local chemical engineering company, Rat has just past her school exams and is doing sixth form/college at her school for the next two years. Is all go go go as they say :D.
