Aion beta event

Well I was in the beta over the holiday weekend and i really enjoyed what i played. I will be picking it up for sure. Wings at lvl 10 seem to add a nice twist to combat and the game itself is just purty. The release is in a month or two and they claim to be doing another beta event in two weeks.

I read an article that was claiming that the first levels grind just like every other MMO, but once you got past that it seemed like it had a lot of promise.

I haven't played it, so what do I know....

Apparently it will be going live September 22.

According to the website, if you pre-order the game, you can join the betas. There are 2 more beta events scheduled.

I've been reading the site and various reviews from the beta and I like what I'm seeing, so I will probably be getting the game. But I don't think I'll be doing the beta events.

Whoever gets there first let me know which side and server you're on.

I am in all the beta events and there seem to be three still to come. I will role a chanter at launch and we will be on the Seil Server, if there is a change to that I will let everyone know.

Closed Beta Event #5 - July 31-August 3

Then after is open beta until release on September 22nd.

I just started a new job (after being laid off in February), so I can't really justify picking it up until I actually get paid...

ok...so the first payday was dedicated to bills.

but now that's pretty well taken care of, so i'll be picking up the game next payday
