Star Wars: The Old Republic

A friend of mine mentioned this game to me about 6 mos ago and I immediately shut down the conversation citing the bad taste still in my mouth from Star Wars Galaxies.

However, I have recently been looking into it and I have to say I'm actually starting to get all geeked up for it.

Has anyone else been following it? I am signed up for the beta but am not holding my breath.

I've been keeping a bit of an eye on the game over time but I'm trying not to get too involved in it. I trust Bioware to make a fun game so I'm content to just let them do their thing. Will definitely check it out when it gets closer to release though. For now I'm just content to split my time between EVE and LOTRO.

I haven't been keeping up with all the latest but I am keeping an eye out for it closer to the release date. I really want it to be good. We'll see.
