Those PHX members interested in competition, we are teaming up with AA82nd. We currently play barebones 5v5 SnD and 4v4 TDM. We didn't have enough of us on our own but with another clan it will free up some spaces if your not always available to play. If your interested please join us on the AA82nd TS and make sure I am in your steam friends list. Our PHX server is being used for ranking up. Use it when you can. THX

PHX in TWL
Re: PHX in TWL
I have my steam ID but I am missing where to get my Steam Community ID. I know where you are supposed to get and that is supposed to be something with a bunch of numbers but I have a custom URL and it won't let me change it to nothing in hopes it would default.
Thanks.

Re: PHX in TWL
I know a lot of websites you just enter whatever is in that box as your steam id since I believe there is no other way of finding it. Obviously email TWL to check, but should be fine.

Looks like this one is a keeper? I will see if I can pick it up soon. Job interviews coming up and I feel good about them!

Wouldn't really bother Cooler, most of us are getting ready to drop the game as alternatives are coming out. IT's been a passable filler but overall it's a badly constructed game.
Time stops for no-one. Why should I?
Re: PHX in TWL
Im holding onto it for mod tools. Alot of ppl have already finished ranking up to 15th prestige. Im not even half way.

I have to agree with Time Cooler.I personally play once in awhile now. Been playing F2P mmo`s for the most part now. I want to play "RAGE" when its out but for now BO is just filler.

Re: PHX in TWL
I'm most looking forward to Brink coming in May. It has a plethora of character and weapon customization but more importantly the progressive objective style of Enemy Territory as well as a dynamic side mission system. It has the makings of a lasting multiplayer game. I'm hoping to chart it.
Earlier than that is Crysis 2 in late March. I hadn't looked at it much before now, it actually appears to have a pretty robust multiplayer... though the PC version and a "master key" was just leaked, so who knows what kind of trouble that'll lead to.
Alternatives to those are FireFall and Planetside Next.
Firefall is a free-to-play (with cosmetic Cash Shop) online co-op shooter with a bunch of the guys who did Tribes on it. With what has been shown so far, it's kind of like "Borderlands with Jetpacks and some MMO trappings". It has a load of customization. It won't be out until late 2011 though.
Planetside Next is obviously the sequel to Planetside, a game we were into for many months (unfortunately my PC couldn't handle it too well at the time and my subscription ran out). Very little is known so far, though apparently it's already really far along and is doing a lot to shorten downtime so everyone can join together quickly and jump into in the fight instead of hanging out at the Sanctuary to sortie up. I hope it doesn't have a monthly fee.
