All Planetside vets should be into beta today.

There's no limit to faction choice right now. You can make a character of each faction on any server.

Though I'm focused on Terran Republic.

I've been toughing it out on West 02, even though that server is pretty much screwed due to severe NC team stacking, always having around 50% or more population at any given time.

I'm thinking of jumping over to the new West 03.

Just got in and made a toon on West 03. Going on vacation later this week, but won't be on a ton.

Very interesting game ... a lot like PS1. Vehicles are a bit weird... guessing until you get handling specs they're hard to wrangle.

I never got an invite to Beta. Are they still giving them out? I did receive an email to purchase the Alpha package and I would be granted Beta access. How is everyone liking it so far?

meh....it's definitely got it's good points, like when you get in a solid squad and are working together well, but it just seems to pointless. you'll go capture a point and 5 minutes later another faction is capping the same point again. Doesn't really feel like conquering territory tbh. A lot of things are still locked char wise as well.

Planetside 2 is open for business.

You can get the client from Steam, or skip that unnecessary layer and just get the client right from the source.

https://launch.soe.com/installer/PS2_setup.exe

Also, for a quick and easy 170 Station Cash, log in with your SOE account to these two other SOE sites (you don't need to do or download anything except log in on both pages).

What servers do you all play on mostly?
