Anybody planning on picking up Defiance?
I played the beta and have pre-ordered. It's B2P like GW2. So only have to buy the initial box, they will have downloadable dlc though but it will be optional. Also ties into tv show of same name.

I had access to the beta, but I never bothered after some technical complications with the installer.
Looking at the Giant Bomb Quick Look of it, it seems okay, like a mix of Firefall in a Fallout style setting. A lot of empty space with serviceable but simple third person shooter mechanics and "go to, kill X" quests.
I'll wait for a price drop, maybe by then it'll have more content than what I saw of it, and that tie-in-influence with the syfy TV show thing starts happening (although I figure the game's support will symbiotically hinge on the show's success, so it may not be worth it then).
