Grudge,

A URL is a Uniform Resource Locator, or more simply, the link to your image. For instance, you had to put the following in to get your signature to work:

[img]http://www.wideopenwest.com/~tasmania4427/welderwithtank.gif[/img]

The part between the img tags is the URL. So if you find a picture you like, you just copy the location of the image (right click-> Properties -> copy & paste) in between img tags and you are good to go.

thanks arch......how do I get a URL tho...like say i want to put a pic of one of the badges or coat of arms you put on here....How do I know what the URL is? I think it is over my head

Ok Grudge. If you want to use one of the decals that was posted in the begining of this thread then all you have to do is right click on it, goto properties, copy and paste the URL (or web address) and put the tag

you would place this URL:

between
