question regarding SOF2

As an old timer Counter-Striker, my question is : How does SOF2 play compared to CS?<br />

Are they relatively the same? Is SOF2 hindered by cheats like CS is?<br />

I can tell by your posts that its is definately fun, and I'll probably pick it up soon, I was just wondering how it fares to CS since that's the only tactical team based shooter I have really played with.<br />

The answers to your questions are no and yes. No there is no cheating going on in the servers that we play on (sof2.eof.net,ect.). Yes for the fun factor. Most people who play SOF2 have also played C.S. and were sick of all of the cheating going on so they switched to SOF2. I hope i have answered your questions to your satisfaction. I'd also like to add....I was late to the game when it came to CS, and because of that I was sorely disappointed when it came to the graphical aspect. Additionally, aimbot was just becoming prevalent in CS, so what's the point...<br />

SOF2 is so graphically appealing (and realistic when you implore the gore - hey, maybe that should be our SOF2 slogan...."Implore the Gore"...or not) that it brings everything to the table that I could ask in a tactical FPS. The only complaint I have, and it's being addressed, is that I would like more maps.
