I posted in response but I cant cut 'n paste cuz it isnt something for public consumption. I make specific references (not attacks) about cheaters on EOF who get witnessed (or atleats suspected) cheating but whose clanmates don't quit over the matter.
Much like the olympics I guess. A lower "olympian" has to pass a standard test (punkbuster) but the podium finishers get "extra" attention.
Not fair treatment to the podium finishers but understandable in the grand scheme of things...

I really don't understand why everyone thinks theres tons of cheaters on EOF yet no one has complained to the only people who can do anything about it, which are the admins. We got a complaints about GeneralH so I looked into it, and I would have done the same had someone else complained about anyone else. This impression that cheaters are ignored on my server only to have GeneralH singled out is dumb. There are at least 3-4 bans a day on EOF that no one even knows about, and admins on the server that people didn't even know were admins.

That means on the server. Calling people hacks while everyone is playing doesn't help anyone and just serves to annoy people. Everyone is more than welcome to spectate the suspected person, even take screenshots and then contact us and we'll deal with it.
Case in point, someone was calling BBC|Trendo a hack soon after we banned General and he got all upset, since he doesnt hack. That kinda stuff is pretty lame to do, especially when you have no proof.

Speakin of Bans
Since we're on the topic of people getting banned i was on quakeshit server the other day...... actually last month but i 4got, but legolas requested that u unban him ashke he said he's learned his lesson and sumtin else so i thought id be nice and help the guy out. but other than that all i have to say about it all is well it's good the servers are watchin for this and what kinda hack did genh have?
Someone mentioned legolas a few months ago and I asked for his IP but no one gave it to me. I was going to unban him so if you have it , lemme know.
GenH looked to have a wallhack. I've been working with Tony Ray from punkbuster on this beta pb server version and I asked him about it. He had this to say:

Hey Ashke, since you made mention of the fact that "everyone" cheats on EOF but noone name's names.
I could list four suspects of the top of my head right now that have "proven to me" to have hacks of some sort. (a shotgun blast from a m590 shouldn't be a small dot on the wall 15-20 virtual feet away, besides wallhacks, aimbots, so on...)
I still agree with your perpective Ashke, about banning known cheaters. If GenH admitted to be a hack-for-profit, I would have enuf concern to leave PHX like Clip felt the need too. But GenH's character is why I don't call for his head on a pike. That's my perspective, for what it's worth. (not much I know)
But if I state who I believe needs Admin's "special attention" I'd be called a liar enuf times to not bother. And would the suspects really ostrasized on third-party web sites for their personal actions? PHXers have said that SG1 (I only accept that PHXers said that, not that SG1 actually did it) has gone on other forums on third-party websites (like BBC) to "tell the world". Isn't banning peeps a server-individual clan issue? That would be like me personally going to BBC forums and talking crap about SG1, bayd, KoD, so on... true or false.

It should be a witchhunt, don't get me wrong. But to let the hunt ruin an entire clan is a little unbecoming. I know what you would respond with, "I was talking about GenH and not all of PHX". Well, I see it as "ban a person for life, but don't broadcast it". I know such intention was to harm GenH's credibility but our whole clan has been harmed. We've lost 3 very good players over this so far. Would we chose 1 over 3 if we weren't comfortable with the integrity of the 1?
And I would not choose to state the 4 suspected hacks on this open forum. If you like we can email eachother and I'll inform as to my suspicions. But I don't want to harm people's online gaming due to accusations, true or false.

There are only 2 members of [SG1] and that is me and knitemare and neither of us have posted anything about this on ANY other forum other than our own and replies on this board. I don't know who your sources are but they are wrong.
This was initially brought ONLY to Arch who didn't believe me and pretty much called me a liar. After that little exchange, I got evidence and showed it to him and then posted that he was banned from the server on our own forums. I only did this because the complaints about him were numerous so I thought it prudent to let everyone know instead of replying to everyone on an individual basis. I also did this because he was the #1 player on our server so it was a pretty big deal. During my original post I said in BIG BOLD LETTERS "He has been banned and this in no way reflects on PHX or anyone in PHX. One bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch.". My opinion since then has changed. Since then, the way members of PHX have dealt with the matter have been immature at best. Saying I "set up" GeneralH, that I doctored the screenshots yet they have no reason for why I would even waste my time. Also, the fact that Arch has been obtuse at best, pulling excuses out of his ass to save face, has made me leary of any future contact with the clan of PHX and I think others see this as well and are building opinions accordingly.
If this has affected PHX as a whole, then you need not to blame me. I did not force GeneralH to use a hack. I did not let him in PHX. All I did was ban him from my server for hacking and gave the evidence to Arch so he could take the appropriate action. If you are going to blame anyone, blame GeneralH.

No one from SG1 has gone to other forums to discuss this. In fact, the only ones I know of have been DTFK-Khyron and ViCoDin. SG1 has kept this a server issue. Ashke has gone to a couple well known clans and commented on threads there about the issue, but he has not started any of them.
