Ok - Suggestion time....

After I get done with a pet project, I'm going to be looking at doing some updating to the site. Here's the open forum people....have at it!

What would you like to see changed/added/removed to the site?

Posting option, of attaching files from your computer of certain sizes as they have in Nachos. That way, I wouldn't have to ask how to post this demo I have of a aimbotter I just caught on our server
Time stops for no-one. Why should I?

Maybe an ET server status option.

A crest of some sort. Something to identify us. Like what Midnight made for the PhoenixCity thing.

Some things off the top of my head.......

Removal of top menus: UO, Planetside, UT2003, WC3 if all agree that they should not be divisions. We have no leaders and we don’t play them as a guild that I am aware of. WC3 could stay around if there is a lot of interest in World of WarCraft.

Add: SWG, ET top menus and add ET Division in forums if there is still the demand and we have a leader (Masa?)

Remove or ??? the following forums: Planetside, Ravenshield, StarCraft, WarCraft 3 (if not kept for World of Warcraft), UO and UT2K3 (??? = Create a Dead or Inactive Division Section where we move prior to deletion)

Fix error about no email address when updating forum profile.

Research issue about sig info not updating by users.

Maybe add a download block for maps and utilities.

Move shoutbox and "who's on" blocks back toward top of home page.
Move Submission Center to bottom of left column.

Umm Mas I dont mean any offense in this, but I dont think you should be ET Divison leader, for a couple reasons.

First of all, you're not on very often (school im sure, same with me). When you are on, you play for like 15 mins then we see you a couple days later. Second of all, you never keep your word. AT first in SOF, you wanted to create an OGL CTF squad, but later when I asked you if you were actually gonna start it, you told me to forget about it cuz SOF sux. Then of course you tired to get as much ppl to join the ET Division in the private forums, but you stil havent organised anything. And last but not least, each time I've played with you, you hardly communicate, so I never know where you are, if you need help, etc. Again, I am not bashing you, just giving reasons why some1 else should be ET leader.

I think Dragon should definitly be Division leader. He seems to be the most devoted to ET and can be seen playing it lal the time. What do you say Dragon?

Wow.

I have a suggestion for the website.

I've been looking for something definite about who the top dogs are in the team. From conversations, I've been able to glean that I.D.O. is in charge, with Arch heading up the website. But other than this, I haven't found anything that specifically outlines the hiearchy of command. Perhaps I'm just not looking in the right place. Yaz talks to people like he's on top, but I can't confirm this.

UM's comments to Masa, and then his asking DR if he's interested in taking control of the ET faction would lead a new member to believe that perhaps he's at or near the top.

I'm confused. Am I missing something? Perhaps some definitive documentation that specifically outlines the history and chain of command might be included.

Of course, if I'm just not looking in the right place, please tell me so I can put this issue to bed for good.

Thanks!

Arch is the TOP DOG of the guild. I am Division leader for SOF2. The FAQ has a lot of good documentation and the guild rulesoutlines the responsibilities but doesn't have the listing of the members in those positions.

Darkkan Division leader of UO
General H was Planetside Division leader when we played.
Yaz is Yaz and UM is UM.

Basically we encourage communication and input from all. So I can see that can be confusing. Arch should able to clear this up.

I would type more but people are bugging me to go to lunch.

Thanks bunches for the insight I.D.O. :)

I'll immediately re-read the sections you've pointed out. Obviously I haven't paid enough attention, but will remedy this immediately.

Yeah, I'll see if I can't get an "organizational chart" on the site. Only problem is .... that implies we're organized, which if you've seen us in SOF2 matches, you know we're not.... 8-)

there is no real "on top" rayden, or I would probably not stick with the clan (or any clan with big politics involved).

I know what I like, I know what I dont like, and I articulate both. I talk on the boards like I talk irl as I have a low threshold for BS and rather than poping arteries I just tell it like I see it.
