Half Life 2 DELAYED.....again.

Not that anyone didn't see this coming..but;

October 07, 2003 - It was theorized that the theft of the source code would cause a serious delay to the release date of Half-Life 2, and today that was confirmed by Christophe Ramboz, VU Games' president of international operations.
According to an article on Reuters, Christophe Ramboz recently told French daily Les Echos: "A third of the source code was stolen. It's serious because it forces us to delay the launch of the game by at least four months, that is to April 2004. Just the time to rewrite parts of the game."

This comes as quite a shock as the delay to "Holiday 2003" was just officially confirmed by Valve a few weeks ago. Although this statement comes from publisher VU Games, we have yet to hear anything official from Valve. You can bet that we'll be keeping an ear to the ground for more info.
