How is it?

Everyone says that Ultima Online is the biggest online game out there, and the best one.

What I want to know, is what do you guys think of it? I havn't played it yet nore have I seen any pictures. What's it like? (Graphics, Gameplay, etc.)

Thats a tough one , the games changed alot over the years, its got a 2D and 3D client, i tend to PvP more so i use the 2D client. id suggest going to www.uostratics.com and www.uo.com to take a look at pics, also theres a massive expansion pack comeing out for the game in Feb.

thanks. do you enjoy playin' the game? not getting bored or anything? cuz I've played Anarchy Online and I got bored with that fairly quickly, bout a month.

if i wasnt bored i wouldnt play sof2 ive played for over 5 years and it has just sparked my intrest with its changes..not to mention makeing the Phoenix rise again...people that play know..the Phoenix fire has started and once as before will dominate or consume all in its path.

i played for a few years off and on up until about a year and a half ago. a friend and i made vows never to even think about ultima online anymore. such a sucky game that was so addictive and made us waste years of our lives... it was pathetic. yeah, it was probably one of the worst games i've ever played in my life.

they've made lots of changes since i started...some for the better and some for the worst. but just the other day i read about some upcoming changes in the works and the changes they made since i quit and i immediately quit daoc, packed away my xbox, installed cup holders into my computer desk and stocked up on 5 years worth of rations. i then ran out and bought the latest release of uo and barricaded myself into my apartment...... i haven't been out since....

I can't even believe I'm saying this, but I've been pondering starting up again....whole new account and everything. Gah!! I've been prdding Waste to sell his account, and I've been trying to focus on the SW:Galaxies beta, but don't get enough playtime on it right now, and on top of it, like Prof said, it sounds like a lot of cool enhancements are being made including the expansion coming up in February.

Ugh!! Oh well, time will tell how weak I get and if I start back. May have to bring the bard out of retirement, right D?
