Baseball Cards
Baseball Cards
OK, any baseball card junkies here? I'm currious about the value of Barry Bonds, TOPS, rookie card. Any1 know anything about it?

Baseball? I haven't heard of someone collecting baseball cards in years now. Most are collecting game cards like magic the gathering, which is fun, or yu-gi-oh, however its spelt.

I only collect GI Joes, StarTrek and StarWars dolls (and before you ask, NO...none of them have been in my ass), and assorted StarTrek memorabilia.
In fact, I have over 300 GI Joes right now. Sheesh. Shoot me now.

damn rights rayden..... i used to collect g i joe's..... like a fiend... but then it got to the point where they were too much fun to play with and I ended up taking them all apart and miss-matching all their bodies. i had every g i joe the stored sold from the time of 1988-1994 i think. before i took them apart and stuff (somewhere around 1997) i sold a few of them, some of the more popular ones which were still pakaged for some solid money!- and that was years ago!!!
wonder what they'd be worth now had i held on to them!

Yea Lev, it's been real difficult for me not to open the packages, but I can proudly say that apart from two generic ones that my daughter and I bought, opened, and made stop-photo movies with, I haven't opened a single one. I have the desert buggy that I'm dyin' to open (that one was 260.00 alone), as well as several other huge boxes that contain specialized figures on vehicles and boats.
I started collecting them about 6 years ago. I had a great collection when I was in the sixth grade, but when my parents moved us from Vegas out to Boulder City, they mysteriously disappeared. I always regretted that, so I started in again. I'd like to have all the jeeps, Apollo capsules and stuff I had back then, but they're worth quite a bit of money now, and there's a line I won't cross. lol
Tas: I have all of the TOS 12" figures, including some of their enemies, like the Gorn Lizard, and that one white apelike thing with the horn coming out of his forehead (remember the episode with Tyree where Bones delivered that baby and the mother called it Leonard?). I also have the Next Gen cast, but haven't really delved into the DS9 or beyond characters. I also have 35 of the StarWars 12" characters from 1 and 2, as well as 4,5 and 6. In addition, I have the Franklin Mint Sterling Silver Ship Collection which has all of the ships, as well as enemies cast in .99 % pure silver with display case...pretty sweet. I also have tons of collectors cards gleaned from several sets of card releases. Up until I moved out here, I also had 3 6' stand up figures of Kirk, Spock, and Deanna Troy. Mmmmmm.....I won't go into the hole I poked in the cardboard where her lips were. :vamp: lmao

Oh, and Merc? They're dolls. Some call them action figures, but since they do nothing but sit in the box, I consider them dolls, and I'm not afraid to call them that. Do you call all your ass dildo's tools or probes? No. You call them heaven. We all have our little quirks, don't we. rofl

BTW Rayden, I wasnt making fun of you, I think collecting stuff is totally cool. I just never heard anybody call them dolls before. I was a big action figure freak when I was younger. I wanted to collect the Spawn toys because I think they look really cool, but after awhile my parents told me I was getting to old for toys. And nowadays you cant even collect cards without being made fun of!
Oh well, atleast I always have my collection of lint that look like famous people.
