Server sugestion?

I was wondering, if it is even possible, if there could be one Real Damage map in the rotation somewhere, not every other map or anything like that, just one every once in a while (maybe no fire nades tho) well it is up to you ultimately but I think it would be fun and I would like to hear what all of you guys and gals think about it.... again it's just a thought... I'm not an expert, but I'm not sure this can be done on a map by map basis can it? Aren't there specific server settings that must be adjusted in order for "real damage" to take effect?

I have alot of fun in real damage servers too G. I was glad when it was switched though, because of the need for getting used to competition. When I feel the need for RD, I just find one of my favorites and have fun there instead.

I've also been visiting some of the other servers that provide random maps in their rotation, because of my history in TWL (all random). One one server last night with 30 people in it, I went 48/18 on a snowy random. Guess I haven't lost my touch on servers where I ping 50. lol

I guess my point is that although my heart is with PHX and I'll always play here first, I see no reason to feel bad about visiting some of the other servers to experience different types of play. It can only make me better.

I guess your right about findin a RD server but just thought i'd ask.. I don't wanna see it go RD all time.

well it would be nice if there was a shiny brass pole and maybe a champagne room, the glass shower would be optional

From what I've noticed when certain players come in and start their chatter, it comes close to being a server with virtual lap dances. rofl

Good guess G. Myself? I can do without that kind of chatter; take it to MSN. Rather, I much prefer the sweet, wholesome goodness of a few fig newtons and a beer while playing. Mmmmmmm.... It's especially tasty when the evening's meal consisted of a fried SPAM sandwich w/cheese. Geez, I'm getting hungry...

I was thinking more along the lines of a new map rotation, it seems to me ( I hope I'm not the only one ) that less and less ppl are on the server now. I know we discussed a new map rotation a while back, just wondering if that is still in the works or if it has been abandoned. BTW I.D.O. haven't seen you in sof lately, I guess that is a good thing. That just means i get to live longer and have a better score.

Are you guys going to tell me what changes you want on the server?? Sometimes RD? All the time RD? Map rotation? New Maps? Just change the map order? Add MODs? OSP Client Side?

You guys let me know..... I like doing changes at the begining of the month so you have a couple days left.

I only have two suggestions :

- Longer respawn (10 sec should do it)

- Clock at the corner of the screen

clock would mean the osp change would it not? 10 seconds!!!!!.....it doesn't take me that long b4 I die... damn you Undead. LOL but I do agree with an extended spawn time especially on maps like shop where the spawns are adjacent to the flags.. I would love a Real Damage map here and again, maybe once a week for a couple a maps... I know most hate it and if the speak up about it I will drop that notion all together, but say nothing and you are all complicite in your silence.. (anyway you can make a lightning bolt strike Tas everytime he kills me with his damn m60?) oh and of no relation to any subject here but I do not wish to start another thread for this, a funny (not really) anecdote if you will suffer it, I was playing the Nachos server last nite and I was on for about 2 or 3 minutes (that would be about 10.50 in canadian) and I noticed A7 was on when he grabbed the red flag, we were playing airport and on the same team (the latter is the impotant part) well I said "Hi A7" knowing he would not respond yet having just picked up the flag, well to make a short story long, I was rounding the corner at the red flag when I seen (saw?) him with blue flag in hand running to cap it well in typical Grudge fashion I decided to give him a salute of bullets say hi and GJ for the flag cap well it was ill timed and well placed if I may say so myself, for he was 2 inches from the cap when my bullets ended his run, I FORGOT THEY HAVE FF ON ALL THE TIME!! oh he was probably livid but in a good show of solidarity and after a bit of groveling on my part he said he understood.. he never did cap that flag tho...well that is it, funny to me anyways
