Is your favorite band the Darkness?

You know, it takes allot of skill to sing about genital warts.

How is this stereotypical? Because the band is from England? LOL some of my favorite bands are from the UK, ie. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Saxon(I think)...

I'll let TNS/TTD/Rat answer the question about the Darkness, but frankly, the only thing actually "good" about the band are the guitar solos.

Well Judas priest and Iron maiden didnt have that strong of a British accent.

The Darkness... well they're quite noticable.

And PJ I was reffering to the song "Growing on me" ... all about Genital warts.

finally someones on my side...ok ok so some of there words are a little strang, but usally just listen to the music, and iif gives me a crazy beat to listen to i like it (i think tns likes the beatles)

The Darkness SUKS MAJOR ASS! I called my local rock station and ripped them a new asshole for playing that crap. Those bands are all good there Merc, but I'll take a little Godsmack, Stained or Sevendust any day. Anyone listen to the new Slipknot yet? It kicks some serious ass. Also the the new 3 Days Grace is pretty cool.

Never liked Slipknot, although the new stuff has some pretty sweet guitar rifts. As for Three Days Grace... another Canadian Band that doesn't hold my interest.

strange music tastes...
thornley new album just bloody unreal
darkness album has few decent songs...
very disappointed with velvet revolver's album- sounds like same shit over and over

other than that its all about the oldies.... bring the led out, pump the acdc, jam to some solid ozzy... scorpions, boston.... u know- the good stuff!
