school
school
as some of you guys know school is starting soon. and due to my grades (2.6) i wont be able to play until i have a 3.0 witch means that, i will not be on for at least nine weeks. school starts tomarrow. Another reason why i broght this up is because i want to pull my self out of the race to become a member. I dont think its fair that IF i did make it that i wouldnt be around.

Personality > Wisdom > Intelligence (edjumakaton), on a scale of importance.
I'm only a mild evil genius (omg thx 2 google!). I was very awesome as a kid in gradeschool, but because my mentors were harsh (nuns from 1960 and parents who want "the best"), my personality declined, I became less friendly, unathletic and meek, and took the books as gospel. I was just about the smartest kid in the class (likely had something to do with spending 3/4s of the day in a chair reading a book), and due to the parental drive on my studies, I became secluded from the others, and turned into qute the asshole. Around the beginning of high school, I realized how much of a "stupid" prick I was. I entirely reform, and I reach awesome around the middle of Senior year. I won "man of the year" award for my work in antics.
I'd rather be a stupid nice guy than a brilliant automaton prick.
This post is totally Blog material.
2.6 isn't THAT bad (wuzat, B-Minus? C-Plus?).

I agree with your point, Den, but I've met lots of charming/intriguing people that struggle supporting their family because they completely abandoned any effort to improve themselves. Now, that doesn't mean strictly school. I know lots of people that didn't attend college, but did educate themselves in other ways, like a trade skill, which has put them in a better position to provide than others.
Personality may assist in those situations, but personality really provides greater impact outside when the brilliant prick with money is spending time alone with his 80 cats, while the intriguing person is surrounded by friends. I think the goal is to be in the middle somewhere.
Be the intriguing person, with the ability to pick up the round.....

I am one of the few guys in my whole grade that is actually capable of getting an A, yet I'm definitly not the brilliant-prick type. Heck, I'm practically just as dumb as the other guys, doing all my projects and homework at the absolute last minute, yet still getting an A. I'm getting a feeling that's gonna catch up and bite me in the ass someday.
Yet its true. The most popular guys you meet have crappy grades. They find it hard to devote some time to homework instead of friends. Although having friends to hang around with is school, that isn't gonna get you into college.
I consider myself split down the middle. Good personality, smart and sociable.
