i agree with Yaz.. dont hold your breath ... i dont wanna see this guild having to worry about the language on vent because it will upset the parents of the kids on it.... i wanna see this guild get better..not younger...just my opinion

Yeah, 11 is too young. I just noticed this 11 year old from CSF playing with us on Vent, and MAN does he sound young. I really don't feel comfortable because you know you feel guilty swearing around them.

well if you dont know he doesnt really care and if you could be nice to him they welcome us on their chat theres no reason we shouldnt on ours know what i mean? yea it feels weird tocuss around a yound kid esp his age but if he says he dont care thats the only hint i need lol.

yea..i heard that kid also.... he sounded like that kid in a high chair from south park... the one that looks like the terrence and whatever character...dont take any offense to these comments we are making.. just know that some of us dont like young folk in our camp...

I haven't had my midol yet, but I'm going to try to make a point without getting all pissy.

The only problem with smacking down the 11 is too young here, is that we've already made family member exceptions. How can we say that there is no way he can when we've made exceptions in other cases?

Only making a point here, not agreeing or disagreeing with the age concerns.

I'm not trying to make this kid feel unwelcome on Vent, it's just that it feels wrong to vent your frustration while a kid that young is listening.

I agree with Ayyyla that it is hard to make an exception for one, than deny it to another. But we have to know where to set the limit (even though we've lowered it many times, even for me!).

i hear ya Ayyyla... but im not sure the little ones even know what midol is used for.. they prolly think its just a rash ointment before they read this post.. and im sure they will get the info quite soon so they can say they knew what it was in the first place.... and that family member you were talking about i think came from a real guild member.. or am i wrong... you know i love you Ayyyla... just dont tell the other guy... heh heh

The only exception I made was that Raven, Ace's brother who turns 13 this fall, could wear recruit tags until he turned 13 and could get a sponsor. Any other comments I need to make I will have to in the Member's forum as I don't find them appropriate for public consumption.

As far as other people being on our Vent, that is fine with me, but I will make no concessions in my behavior for them coming in. I always enjoy talking to other people, regardless of their status with us, but it is OUR resource and as such, we use it how we desire.

Man, I am in a dictatorship mood today, or maybe just the dic part....
