ventrillo setting question
people tell me that they can hear them selves when i talk , and they find it annoying . I use a wrap around headset with mic, and its installed to the 2 lil outlet things the one with the pic of the mic and the other with the pic of the headset . I tried messing with all the vent settings and i cant getting rid of the echo thing. Do any of you know how to get rid of it??
ohh also i use push to talk thing if it matters.

I had the same problem a long time ago, and in my Vent settings the LINE was set to "What you hear" So it played everything that went through the soundcard at once.
I don't know if thats whats causing the problem or not G1, but in your vent settings, make sure the following is set (in SETUP):
OUTPUT DEVICE: Default (or soundcard driver)
INPUT DEVICE: Default (or soundcard driver)
MIXER: Default (or soundcard driver)
MUX: Recording control
LINE: Microphone
