I always feel bad for developers when a game is cancelled. It was probably a smart decision, as it's better to fold holding 2 pair when you know a couple others are holding 4 of a kind.

I feel Matrix online is holding an Ace high and bluffing.

after further review they cancelled do to lack of participation. They actually said they could not compete against WoW.

One thing I read today that I kind of found shocking is that SOE is claiming that EQ2 has 310,000 subscribers now. I know that WoW has/had 250,000 after 1 week, but because of the shortage of copies (and the end of the free month), I wonder what that number is now.....

Of course EQ itself is sitting at 410,000 and there is a rumour out there that UO will begin collapsing shards come mid-2005 since the majority of it's user base is now in Japan (hence why they did the Samauri Expansion if you were wondering).
