Okay I'm not getting this one if you don't mind some criticism, I think it is jumping all over, not sure if you just jumped ahead and are giving us a little taste, but if you are sticking to AD&D type theme. I think half orcs are almost as stupid as normal orcs, so you may want to make that clear. Maybe instead of say "a half orc" make it less like you are pointing out that it is a half orc by saying something to the extent of hating half orcs or something along those lines. I'm no writer but I do know AD&D and like I said I am a huge fan of salvatore.
Well, I'll be completly honest. While I am doing the storyline, I didn't exactly give enough detail to Den concerning the first chapter. Basically, he's had to come up with practically everything that happens in this chapter. Maybe it's because I know what's going on that it doesn't seem confusing. Just for the record, this first chapter is simply introducing Ungot Mercenary in a typical mercenary scenario where he is payed to kill some bandits.
I think it will look much better once all the pages are drawn, so you can see the whole thing. I like how Den is drawing this, so I wanted to share it as I received each page. It would be more fair to judge the chapter when it's complete I suppose, but I understand where you're coming from Poo.
And I'm guessing when you said "orcs are stupid", that you were commenting on their intelligence. True, they are dumb, ugly goblinoids. Half-orcs aren't always as dumb as their orcish heritage, unless they are raised by orcs. If raised by humans, I'm sure they would be capable of saying "Come on, bastard".
I dunno. Den is probably more suited to explaining it than I.
