Woohoo NDA lockdown is over, check out my baby!

I've had this installed for about 5-6 months now and I gotta say that it is quite an awesome card and I would definately recommend picking one up when they retail. Realistically we haven't even begun to see the possibilities such as say realistic water physics with boats, etc... so far all we've really seen are more physics particles and debris, etc.

I've seen a lot of tech previews from various companies over the last few months and I gotta say that PhysX is smokin :) Although you won't be able to get the Uber 'Aegia Brand' with the Eval/Demo board line at the top... you'll have to settle for the BFG (which is actually clocked higher than this demo board until I clock this a bit higher).

Although it's actually out of the machine right now because I'm not sure what OS I want on this desktop.. although I'll probably go back to XP32. I installed Vista Beta 2 yesterday just to take a peek but I'll ghost back to XP32 so I can have my PhysX drivers back! Unfortunately Aegia doesn't have 64-bit drivers yet so I can't run XP64 either.. bah.
I have no sig.

So this just pops into an available slot? And PPU enabled games will call it and take advantage of it? Sounds wild.

This is what makes consoles so powerful. Dedicated task chipsets.

Let's hope the industry embraces this technology. My only worry would be room. With SLI 7800GT's, a soundblaster, and network card I'm pretty hosed on space, although I could dump my NIC and goto my onboard NIC.

Looks cool!

Yep it's just a PCI card so you pop it in and install the PhysX drivers and you're good to go. I TOTALLY agree with you on the space I had to move things around and pull my wireless card out of this box in order to have room, I switched back to onboard NIC actually :) But it was worth drilling the hole in the wall and running the cable lol!
