RE: Just in case no one
That was a bit of a Dave Chappelle rip-off (Rick James, bitch!), but that was funny as hell nonetheless!

I saw the scene after the credits.... I actually went to see it with an old member of this ye guilde SephZero. I thought the added scene was alright, but it really didn't play into the story if there is no intended 4th movie. I mean who cares whether hes dead or not lol ... anyways, I loved it, I thought it was def the best one (Cept not seeing Mistique's titties) ... but I have one quesiton for discussion
---
Dont discuss if you havent obviously seen it.

In the end, when Magneto barely wiggles the metal chess peice what is the director trying to convey?
1. The cure was partial
2. The cure was temporary
3. It is a slap in Magneto's face because he could just move a whole bridge and now can barely wiggle a peice.
Me and Seph Zero debated this for the whole ride home, He goes with 2 .... I think 3 is the ticket... thoughts?
Given that there will be no 4th movie, I see no need to end the last one with any kind of cliffhangers ... but meh...

Also, I bet none of you foo's waited for the scene after the credits.
Yeah, every character has died a few times, but multiple people have said this will be the last movie. I hope not. This one was good, but I don't think it was on par with the first two. I also hope that if they do continue with the series, that it doesn't turn into what Superman 3- end/ Batman 3- until Beginnings was... just there to milk the franchise cash cow.
But on a side note, Aylah and I signed up for Netflix and we've loved it ever since. Very large selection of Anime which was surprising. Good-bye Cockbluster for-evah!
Ninja Edit- Zarn, I'm going with two. What we need to know is the time frame. How long after he was injected was he at that park? The movie made it seem like it was within a few days. If that's so, then Mystique (sp?) should show signs of regaining her shape shifting abilities.
Also, while I love Magneto, I'd love to see some of the other head villians start to pop up, mainly Apocolypse (I know I misspelled that =/).

I think it's #2.
Also, there are already two X-Men spin-offs on the docket (Magneto and Wolverine).
I think after the good opening weekend - unless there is a cataclysmic collapse at the box office, they'll make #4. I just wish they could work it out with Bryan Singer, cause IMHO Brett Ratner screwed #3 up. The more I think about the movie, the less I liked it......

Yeah I agree Arch, Ratner definetly didn't do a great job with this movie.
Zarn, I also think it's number 2. If you think about it, when Beast comes too close to Leech, his hand becomes normal. As he leaves, it regains it's furry-ness. When Kittie Pryde saves Leech at the end... well I can't remember if you see her using her powers afterwards, but there's no indication that she has last her powers. Seems to me that Leechs powers are temporary. So the cure must be temporary as well.
On a side note, I am still extremely disappointed they couldn't get Gambit in this movie. Apparently, that guy from Lost was supposed to do it, but he said he was too busy with that show. I don't know why they didn't find someone else, but whatever. He was always the coolest X-Men in my book.
Although Arch mentioned the 2 spin-offs (Wolverine definetly needs one, hopefully including his time with Alpha Flight), there is too much potential for more X-Men movies for there to be nore more. They have barely touched any of the villains such as Apocalypse, Sabretooth, Mr. Sinister, etc. Plus, there's always the characters from the future like Cable and Bishop. That's only the tip of the iceberg.
Hopefully a worthy director will take up the challenge.

Although it isn't Marvel, I'd like to see another Spawn movie. Hands-down my favorite comic book character (hence the awesome avatar). The first one was OK, but with todays enhancend special effects, I think a sequel is in order. And of course, John Leguizamo would return as the Clown (best performance in that movie IMO). Oh, and think about a sequel with the controversial Billy Kincade. Scare the shit out of any parent lol
Ah, one can only dream.
