Well that sucks. I was looking foward to a new FPS and I knew this game would be the best choice. Either this or Battlefield 2143.

This is a major dissapointment. I think this is the only Quake game I've looked forward to since part 2.

If Quake Wars goes back as far as I think it might, or falls through and lacks attention when it gets here (doubtful, looking great), I've another FPS that is currently under the radar and is estimated to release near the end of '07.

Ninety years of weapons, from guns as far back as World War One up to modern special forces. Has some kind of "What If" multiplayer gameplay, so an army of guys with bolt action rifles can go up against a few Delta Force guys (and probably a standard setting where you can use whatever you want).
