I've seen some before, a few E3 vids showcasing the soldier classes and a two-way instructional walkthrough of one of the maps from both armies' sides. Is this new?

the explosions look kinda Meh, after seeing the unreal 3 engine at work the doom 3 engine just doesn't get me excited anymore. The gameplay looked kinda tribes'ish mixed with bf2142. I'll try the demo though.

God how did I get so damned jaded?

i agree with the fact that its alot like Tribes issue, but i never have a problem with that..... im a first gen tribes player anyways and i will welcome the same game style.... im kinda thinkin that some other old school tribes players might make a go at it.. isnt that right Yaz ???

Tribes was way ahead of its time when it first came out

man I played the living crap outta tribes one, still the best of the series IMO. Back when ski-ing was a skill and not automatic.

yea, tribes 1 rocked and looked real good on my glide drivers voodoo cards, damn those things were expensive for a meager 2 or 4 meg options... and got forbid you coud actually afford to jump to 16 megs of computer ram from the standard 8 that wasnt quit enough to play quake

Heh, FYI tribes 1 and 2 are available for free download now, tribes 1 even has a graphics update patch done by the community. I was thinking about downloading it again.

Google
Or
http://www.fileplanet.com/140246/140000 ... -Full-Game
There's still a few dozen servers, each with their own ridiculous mods.
