My Razr

Post by Grudge »

Well I got a damned phone that is smarter than me. The Motorola Razr VSxx. Can anyone help me out here. I want to transfer the pictures I have taken with my phone. I do not have bluetooth (or really know what that is) nor do I have a micro sd card (I do know what that is, HA!) I think , and I may be way wrong, that I need a micro sd card, store the pics onto the card then transfer them, is this right? anyway of doing it without the card? I do have the USB cable for the phone. help me!! and I am so pissed Yau-man didn't win.

i have a razr that i don't know how to use either :-)

i don't think you need bluetooth since you have a usb. the problem i'm having is finding the drivers for the computer. i think that once the proper driver is in place, then the phone will act like any other usb device. but i could be wrong...

anyway, if you come across that driver, please let me know...

I have a top of the line Samsung, and it's a joke for transferring photos. The USB cable is only to emulate a modem, and you cannot transfer pictures from the phone to your PC using the USB. What a crock of sh*t. I have to UPLOAD my pics to my service provider, THEN download them to my PC.

I am finding out that today's cell phones are the biggest heaps of proprietary bullsh*t on the planet. It's a joke.

You can check out BitPim and see if your phone is supported. Mine is not yet.

If all else fails, you should be able to email them to yourself 1 at a time!

I have / had a couple Sanyo phones and was lucky enough to find the USB drivers. I use bitpim and it works great. I will see if there is anything in the forums about the model you are using.

Then why read the forums? Too cool for school and exempt to the "no reading"?

My own phone has a "Send Image" option in the same area you send text messages to other phones.

I put my email address in the "TO:" field and select the image one at a time.
