Fallen Empires: Legion Beta

For those of you that didn't know, GarageGames which was founded by core developers from Dynamix, are working on a spiritual successor to Tribes. Many of these guys were on the development team that created the original Tribes, but left before the lesser successful Tribes 2 and Tribes: Vengeance games were released.

Fallen Empires: Legion is a FPS that is very similar to the original Tribes, but with a very unique twist....

You play it through your web browser. Yup, you read that right.

GarageGames launched InstantAction.com to host these types of games that you can play via your browser and are using it as the platform for FE:L.
