Ok, they are not new. The maps are just with new modes Laguna and Desert map. If your a VIP, i think everyone who has the game is, its free!. Unlike MW2....LOL!

I don't agree with that Den. I paid 60 bucks for lag free, cheat free, team oriented game when i purchased MW2. Need i say more?

And I paid $50 for a lag free, cheat free, team oriented game when I purchased Bad Company 2.

Those first two are even less true.

What you get and what you want something to be are hardly ever the same thing.

LOL, WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more cheaters playing MW2. I just fired it up to see if it was any different and it wasn't. I've only seen one cheater and he got banned by us. You shouldnt have to sit and take it when someone decides to cheat. Yet you have no choice when playing MW2. Im happy with my BFBC2 purchase. MW2 is only good for single player. Which i could have downloaded and played for free.

I know where Den is coming from because I see people not playing as a team. I have only played MW2 on XBOX360 since I have refused to purchase the game. It was a horrible experience laced with 12-15 year olds that have discovered the F-word and N-word. The number of perks is a little too much and the killstreaks are just stupid. When you play it is full of pray and spray BS and no teamwork.

At least in BF:BC2 if you play with friends you normally get more of a team feel. DMIC, Specter and Arch played BF2 quite a bit and it was a ton of fun. My major issue with BC2 is the server browser is just as crappy as any other Dice game, the friends tool doesn't work consistently worth a crap. I haven't really experienced much of a lag issue.

But it all comes down to personal preference I guess.
