MW 3 or BF 3?

Which game is everyone getting? Im not getting both but I will go with the group on this.

Slight chance of getting BF3, probably not though. FPS companies need to come up with something better than a slightly upgraded version of a previous game.

Since all these games stand on their multiplayer, not the sp, its retarded that we are expected to pay $60 for essentially a map pack.

I'm done with CoD games, may pick up BF3 but it'll be a wait and see thing, have not been impressed with the last few FPS I have picked up (Black Ops, Crysis 2, Brink) and will need something to bowl me over.

I don't think I can take up any modern military shooters for a while. They're killing my affection for video games.

I'll probably get both MW3 and BF3 for chart purposes (if it is even possible to chart them, and BF3 only if I can get the spare cash for all the PC upgrades necessary), but I may not play their multiplayer frequently.

Instead, I'll be looking forward to things like Guild Wars and Dark Souls.

It's no Galaxies. All the leaked and official videos of gameplay and other elements paint it as a World of Warcraft clone, except with ten gigabytes of voice acting.

There is Planetside Next coming in the near future. Almost zero info about it, though.

I know I won't get MW3.

I'm thinking I may get BF3, but only if enough PHX'ers get it to make it worthwhile playing online.

I'm very interested in Guild Wars 2. I really need to crack out the first one(s) to play all the way through.

I'm hoping that SW:TOR will be good, but I fear like Den said that it will try to be a WoW clone instead of trying to do something more unique. That's why I actually think RIFT has a shot to stay around awhile.

Planetside 2 (or whatever...) is very intriguing. I had half a thought that they really just threw the idea out there to see what the community thought before they coded one object.

Never heard of the new planetside yet. That would be quite cool... if it hangs around longer than the the first.. what it only lasted like 4 months?

I was watching a lot of SW:TOR videos from E3, looked a lot like galaxies from what I saw, except I didn't see any info around crafters / miners, or other non-fighting classes, except medic/doc.

Time will tell! I'm definitely in for BF3 though!

I enjoyed the team play of BF2BC2 so I will probably get BF3. I hear there has been talk of MW3 having dedicated servers so that might draw me back in. BO and MW2 went to crazy with all the killstreak BS for me.

I would be interested in Planetside 2 if it isn't to glitchy. The first one was a little too inconsistent and unstable for me.

Looks like MW3 is winning in the poll. I have learned not to get my hopes up about dedicated servers when it comes to MW so ill just keep my fingers crossed.

I'm a sucker for these games, so I'll end up buying both. I just like playing with PHXers so I'll go where the games are. BF3 looks righteous.

The new Star Wars looks like it could be good but my gut instinct says it's gonna be a letdown and get 6/10's on reviews etc ... but who knows maybe we'll get surprised!

meh...likely never touch another CoD game again. What I've seen of BF3 looks pretty good though, totally redesigned engine and looks to have really tight controls. BF3 was made for PC and ported to consoles unlike all the CoD games now so the PC experience should be MUCH better.
