Please tell me that Imp didn't just call my husband a killer.
Please, please tell me he didn't just say that.
This is getting...too personal. And I'm thinking we need to agree to disagree before we break new rule number...what was it 7 and have some of that nasty drama we decided not to have because frankly I really can't sit back while someone calls my husband who is busy trying to make sure his family has fucking food on the table a fucking killer.
Alrighty...the F word has come out...time to go.

Okay, fair enough, I'll accept that but see here's the damned problem - Canada when you get right down to it is a big fucking chunk of land. So is America. But Thowarr is my husband, a good father, and a man. We're taking this out of the realm of lively debate about issues to personal jabs at specific people.
I mean, that'd be like me calling Brandy a bitch about right now, but working it into Canadian policy somehow. I don't want to hear another fucking thing about Canada vs America. I'm sick of it. From both sides.

my head's going to explode, if I rage then I am just going to see more jumbled nonsensical response that only someone with mailicious close-mindedness would write. To imply that a person who serves in the military loses thier rights and is branded a killer is completley ASSININE. people are killed in military situations all across the world, it has been that way since man learned to weild a club. that a person does thier job and is unfortunately called upon to protect the free world by taking the life of ppl trying to do the same to them does not make soldiers cold blooded killers. I cannot believe someone with even the smallest amount of brains would type something slike that just to make an inflammatory statement... freakin tree-huggers. bitch about the violence inflicted by soldiers while they reville in their FPS games gunning ppl down. I am done with this crap and I need a break for a while a loooong while I think. good luck Ayyyla trying to stay sane talking commen sense to these dopes. I am out of here.
ok Ayyyla I think you need to read in context here.
I was simply making a point on a main difference between the US and Canada.. which is military. In the US it would be blasphemy to call the military terrorists, killers, etc. I mean most guys I've talked to can name off almost every gun and helicopter ever made.. but probably couldn't point out Iraq or Japan on a map, and don't even know all of the states.
In Canada the military is viewed much differently, as it mainly operates in a peace keeping mode. In Canada people in the military are there because they want to help out with things.. it is not looked at as a job whatsoever. You would never once here of a Canadian in the military "just trying to put food on the table"
I was merely showing a major cultural difference.

I have no sig.
Actually you are wrong in MANY situations. I mean if you look at the US, there are TONS of people that are forced to serve.. all because they weren't born to wealthy parents. I mean to even get school loans these days.. it's just rediculous.Grudge wrote:To imply that a person who serves in the military loses thier rights
I totally agree, which is why you'll notice I didn't say anything of the sort. Please don't republican me and take all my words out of context and try to make something out of nothing.and is branded a killer is completley ASSININE.
