It's fun to see you can't even talk about world economics with SOME Americans because they are just too arrogant and when they have nothing to debate on a point over they jump to trying to attack someone (or another country).
Did I not say in the original post that this was not a slam on the US and was an economic discussion? Did I not say that Canada was in the same boat? It seems you know nothing about what's going on and just feel your country is under attack and someone need to lash out at another.
Now if you really feel like throwing crime around, you should stop dead in your tracks. If you really wanted to bash the US you could talk about how it has 4% of the world's population and 26% of the world's jailed population. You like the subject of natives? Let's talk about the US, CIA, and Leonard Peltier. I am not condoning the issue you posted at all.. it is absolutely sick. I'm just saying that you should read up on the US record with native americans before you start trying to point the finger.
ALSO FYI on this article:
What CNN doesn't state (an American network, how could it ever give all the facts unskewed!) is that in Canada the native americans DO NOT FALL UNDER NORMAL CANADIAN LAW on their reserves. They fought for their rights and many were granted. If you actually research into the problem you will see that it is internal, and that it is native americans killing native americans, on reserve lands that the federal government legally can't do anything about.
If you want to talk about what governments have done to native americans find out who Leonard Peltier is.
And you want the posts to stop Throwarr? Why cry to Arch, why not just tell me not to post and you won't hear from me again? You honestly can't take seeing me and Yaz talk about the EU and US economies and status? I liked talking to Yaz about the subject, it got me researching and learning new things. Notice that neither of us outright bashed a country or tried to attack each other. Nice to see your little bash on Canada that is unrelated to the subject, too bad it didn't work out because your great media service didn't give you the full facts!
Don't worry about it though man, I won't post about governments or economics anymore, even though I enjoyed hearing what others like Yazule had to say about it. I myself thought it was a VERY interesting read, since BOTH of us stated some wrong facts on the other thread, and this thread didn't bash anyone or any country. But obviously according to stereotypes, only one of us will admit they were wrong on some points or didn't have all the facts.
